InVision shutting down is another reminder for designers — slow down on your obsession with tools.
Eventually, they are all being replaced (Axure -> InVision -> Figma -> ?) and your tool-specific knowledge go to 0 (the principles stay though).
In fact, tooling and competence will inflate faster and faster in the age of AI.
The AI-proof skills that will always have value are: being high agency (the ability to act independently and do it proactively) and trustworthiness.
