This month myself and my company Empify are featured in Inc Magazine!!! The ACTUAL magazine!!!! I went crazy when I got a copy and rushed to page 111 to see ❤️
I remember back when I was a little girl, I dreamt of being in magazines. I dreamt of having more, becoming more and doing more, but I always wondered if I could do it. Being a woman…was I enough? Being Black…could I be enough? I questioned myself in school, in sports, and as I got older that story carried with me. Being on Wall Street I questioned my ability, my strength, and my “enoughness”
…but then I learned that everything I used to question is what made we special. It’s what made me Ashley M. Fox. It’s what made my energy, tenacity and commitment to excellence unique and POWERFUL!
So, I stopped using “enough.”
I no longer allow the standards of the world, my doubts, my past, or society to define me. I decided to let go. I decide to love me more even the parts that needed work, and I gave myself grace.
This season is about letting go. It’s about choosing new. It’s about choosing ME.
