In December 2017, I received this rejection email from ExxonMobil.
I had been interviewing with them since September for an internship, and this was the final blow of rejection.
To my surprise, I got a call out of the blue in March 2018 asking if I’d still be open for an internship at ExxonMobil.
“Of course!” I replied and started the interview process over again.
I didn’t get that role either 😔😭😡
Luckily, that team sent my resume to another role and that group took a chance on me.
Years later, I’m making a difference at #ExxonMobil as a Data Scientist.
Never give up. Always believe in yourself. No rejection is ever final. You never know what’s around the corner.
