Money is not the main reason talented employees quit jobs, it is the toxicity in your organization that makes employees leave.

Toxic work environments can manifest in many ways, such as:
👉🏾Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or retaliation by colleagues or supervisors
👉🏾Lack of transparency, trust, or communication from leadership
👉🏾Unrealistic or unclear expectations, goals, or performance metrics
👉🏾Favoritism, politics, or nepotism that undermines meritocracy and fairness
👉🏾Chronic stress, overwork, or burnout due to high demands, low autonomy, or insufficient resources
👉🏾Lack of recognition, feedback, or growth opportunities that make employees feel undervalued or stagnated
👉🏾Lack of alignment with personal values, purpose, or mission that erodes the sense of meaning and fulfilment in work

I recently sat on a panel to interview a candidate for a managerial position, the candidate performed outstandingly in the first interview and was called for the second interview.

When asked the amount he expected to be paid, he quoted 70k, and gave several reasons for the figure he had asked.

The organization was offering a range of 150k-200k, and some of the panelists wanted to revoke his chance because he didn’t know the value of the position he was interviewing for.

I pointed out it was the organization's/recruiting agency’s fault for not including the salary range in the job advert.
I together with one of the panelists fought and he walked away with a job and a salary of 177.5K.

Always include a salary range in a job advert, a candidate not knowing their worth doesn’t make them less competent.

No situation is permanent, I came from depression, joblessness, and the urge to die to become one of the sought-after Speakers and a successful CEO.

When I thought it was over God started opening doors. Soon things will change and you will use your current situation as a testimony.

May God come through for you too, in Jesus Name.
