The next chapter for Gymshark...

We are taking Gymshark offline, this is a HUGE moment and an exciting new leap for us. To have started this in my bedroom, to now be sat on one of the most prestigious streets in London is mind-blowing!🤯

We cannot wait to see our community walking into this store and enjoying our first open space to the public!

I've been reminiscing over the past few days, and the one word that comes to mind is...PROUD.

This achievement doesn't belong to me, the Gymshark team have worked tirelessly to bring this store to life.

It's an honour to work with such a talented group, that can start with a vision and make it a reality. Every little detail has been thought out... The inclusive mannequins, the agile event spaces, personal shopping experiences, free classes and SO much more.

The journey to get to this point has definitely not been easy, but the Gymshark team behind this incredible project have outdone themselves once again.

Day 1 in Sri Lanka! 🇱🇰

Our first day was spent learning about the history of our supplier, a family business with over 100 years of experience!

Following that, we toured some of the factories and collaborated with these talented people to create some amazing products 🙌

In the afternoon, we visited a nursery supported by our suppliers and had the opportunity to plant a tree on behalf of Gymshark! 🌴

Before starting Gymshark, I created 7 websites and 4 apps that all failed miserably...

The reason Gymshark can exist is because of those prior failures.

Reframe your perspective on failures. Go all in on something and see what happens. If it doesn't go according to plan, you can always try something new!

Failures pave the way for success.

So much can change over a decade, but every journey has a starting point.

I was so grateful for this space in the past, even with its lack of natural light and freezing winters. It was within these walls that Gymshark began to take shape.

In a world that's becoming more and more online, there's something truly special about meeting fans and customers face to face.

Something incredible happens when you get a group of likeminded individuals together. This weekend at the Gymshark Manchester event was the perfect example of this!

As you may have seen, we recently appointed David Laid, one of our oldest Gymshark athletes as our Creative Director for lifting. I first met David in 2016 and now I’m buzzing to be able to say David is not only a great friend but also a colleague.

Lifting has been at the core of everything we’ve done since we started in 2012, and now we’re going to take our lifting credentials to the next level.

We’ve officially shipped over 1 million units in less than 3 days! (Full vlog currently being edited) 🌍💫

With around 2,000 people each day working across four different distribution centres, we’re catching up with Blackout orders quicker than ever before

I can genuinely take zero credit for the incredible job that the ops & tech teams are doing in terms of getting these orders out so quickly - Talk around Gymshark as a business is often around our product, brand and marketing strategies, but our tech, ops and partners in these areas are smashing it!

Last week, I made a deliberate effort to fit in a gym session between my meetings. At the Gymshark Lifting Club, I had the unexpected pleasure of running into our athlete, Ross Edgley!

Taking breaks between meetings not only clears my head, but also reminds me why we do what we do. So, stepping into the gym and seeing one of our athletes made it worthwhile!
