Sam and I are officially closing the doors.
No new clients until 2027.
Here's why:

It's been one hell of a year.

We’ve had another record revenue year.
We’ve had insane client results
Sam's having another baby.
I got engaged : )
Past 3,000 subscribers on YouTube.

But 2027 is the year we go bigger.

We want to dominate the recruitment space and deliver so much value that recruiters are queuing up to work with us.

So we're heads down for three months.

A brand new product.
Rebuilding systems.
A service that delivers an even better ROI to a select few recruiters.

We'll still be posting. The podcast carries on as usual.

But if you've been thinking about working with us, the next door opens in January.

I'll keep you posted : )

This Recruiter Bills 500k.
He’s also a Partner at Hubscale Executive Search
They’re on track to hit 7.5 million in year 4!

Today’s Guest is Callum Runnegar-Mundy

Callum is a partner at Hubscale.

A firm growing incredibly fast! Already on track for 7.5 million in year 4 of business.

Here are 3 Golden nuggets Callum shared:

1. The 8 Week touchpoint rule.

Callum only follows up with the most valuable candidates, like CROs at 100m+ cyber companies, and puts them through an 8-week sequence. The first call is just listening and asking good questions, with no selling. Every week after that, he adds value with market insight. When those candidates land new roles and need to build teams, they call him, which is why most of HubScale's clients came from people they never placed.

2. Hyper niche

HubScale doesn't just "do cyber." They split the market into startup and enterprise, then into verticals like identity and AI security. That depth wins PE firms: HubScale tells them, "We're only interested in four of your portfolio companies," then shows it knows everything about them. Now PE firms call HubScale first whenever they buy a cyber company.

3. Selling with MEDDICC

HubScale trains every consultant in MEDDICC, because Callum sees recruitment as sales. It checks each deal for the gaps that matter: who signs off the budget (rarely the hiring manager), the client's real pain, who argues for you internally, and who you're up against. The team reviews deals together every Thursday and won't forecast one with unanswered gaps. So they stop chasing deals that won't close, which Callum says can double how many they land each month.
