Off to the Gigafactory today for a day of reviews with the team!

We kicked off our vaccination drive for those in the 18+ age group last week. We have completed the first dose for 50% of our employees and will continue the drive to cover all of our employees, their dependents as well as our contractors, consultants and advisors. This is further to our commitment back in March to provide free vaccination to all of our employees and their dependents. The drive is live in Bangalore where majority of Ola’s employees are and will expand to other cities in the coming weeks as vaccine supplies improve.

To provide a seamless and safe vaccination experience Ola has partnered with leading hospitals and has set up the vaccination camp within the Ola Campus. This helps people avoid unnecessary exposure in hospital visits and also makes it super convenient as there is minimal wait time. The vaccine is administered by qualified professionals from the hospital. Each employee is kept under observation for 30 mins post vaccination and then discharged.

For us, health and well-being of our employees and their families is of paramount importance and we look forward to a safer and sustainable future together!

We must come together and help our communities during these unprecedented times. Today we’re announcing the O2forIndia initiative in partnership with @GiveIndia to provide free and easy access to oxygen concentrators to those in need. @foundation_ola

You can request for concentrators on the Ola app. Once validated, we will deliver it to your doorstep and pick it up back once you no longer need it. Concentrator and transportation are both free

Service begins in Bangalore this week & will expand across India in coming weeks. We hope this initiative brings much-needed support during these very difficult times and helps in mitigating the pain and the anxiety among those impacted.
