Today kicked off the 2024 #BXCEOConference, where we bring together leaders from #Blackstone’s portfolio and beyond to explore the most pressing issues in business today. Here are some highlights:

🏔 With our scale, Blackstone sees economic indicators from around the globe. President Jon Gray joined Paul Flaum, CEO of Bourne Leisure Ltd, to share their “view from the top”: optimism for the year ahead, as we see declining inflation and resilient growth across the #economy.
🤝 During breaks, leaders in attendance networked, discussing their companies and their takes on leading through today’s business challenges.
🆕 Some newly appointed CEOs took the stage to share how they’re helping build promising futures for their companies. One great insight from Lidiane Jones, CEO of Bumble Inc., Mark Thompson, Chair & CEO of CNN and Genevieve Juillard, CEO of IDG (International Data Group): ”If you can live up to your brand and extend the ways in which it’s expressed, you can give it a deeper meaning and new life.”
🤖 OpenAI CTO Mira Murati joined David Schwimmer, CEO of LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) and Martin Brand, Blackstone’s Global Co-Head of Technology Investing to discuss how leaders are applying #AI in their businesses. They didn’t share any good #ChatGPT prompts, but they did say that if we focus on positive applications of #AI in the real world, we can build a positive future.
