Your Journey, your progress
Stop comparing yourself to others!🚫

We've all been there, while studying or doing any other activity we start comparing ourself to others. And suddenly, bam! There goes our motivation, flying out the window. 😔 It's like an instant demotivator, isn't it?

Here’s a few thing we need to remember

⚖️ Healthy Competition, Not Comparison ⚖️
Sure, a little friendly competition can be a good thing. It can push us to give our best But it's all about the extent. Comparing every tiny detail of your progress to someone else's isn't healthy.

🏃‍♀️We All Have Our Own Pace🏃‍♂️
We all have our own pace of learning and growing. Don't rush, don't stress. Just continue with what you are doing and trust the process

🔍 Compare with Yesterday's You 🔍
Try comparing yourself to yourself – the you of yesterday. Reflect on the progress you've made, the challenges you've overcome, and the knowledge you've gained. 📈 That's the real competition – becoming a better version of yourself

⏰ Your 2 Revisions = Their 3 Revisions ⏰
Lastly if you are preparing for a exam, your two revisions might be equal to someone else's three. Quality matters more than quantity. 📖 Focus on absorbing, understanding, and enjoying the learning journey. 🧠🌟

Hope this helps!✨

Water is the next gold.

And we’re running out of it.

We often talk about gold, oil and data as the most valuable assets in the world. But quietly, water is becoming the rarest and most crucial one of all.

In many cities, clean drinking water has become a privilege. Industries are now being scrutinized for their water consumption, from fashion to tech.

Data centers, which are powering our AI revolution, consume millions of gallons of water just to keep themselves cool!

By 2050, over 50% of the global population is expected to live in water-stressed regions and this is not a “government problem.”

Global economies and businesses are significantly impacted by this worsening problem. According to a CDP analysis, poorly managed river basins around the world have threatened $105 billion in corporate profits, showing the urgent need for sustainable water management methods.

If water is the new gold, then the companies that understand its value today will be the next unicorns tomorrow.

Do you think it is a valuable asset?

Being a full-time creator is a 24x7 job.

And even though I didn’t choose to be a part of this hustle since day one, my switch from CA to a content creator made me realise a lot of things.

Even before beginning, I always felt it was a dream life but in reality, it is not so fun. Which is why anyone who wants to be a creator should know this:

→ Creating content is a blast, but strategising, admin tasks, editing and posting are just the beginning. You need to be ready to manage the business side of things.

→ You might be overthinking every post. But people aren’t analyzing every move. Focus on putting yourself out there and stop worrying about judgments.

→ You need to manage your money without fail. Ensure you’re financially stable and save for those “rainy days” because content creation can be unpredictable.

→ Not everyone will stick around and that’s fine. Don’t obsess over numbers or followers because what matters is that your main audience stays engaged.

→ Even when you’ve “made it,” self-doubt can creep in. So don’t compare yourself with others because you earned your success through hard work and creativity.

No matter how glamorous this lifestyle looks, honestly, it isn’t 1% close to what you think it to be. So be prepared for the ups and downs without letting it affect you.

Do you think a creator’s life is a bed of roses?

The new tax regime will save you so much money!

With Budget 2025, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has further liberalized the new tax regime, making it a more attractive option for many taxpayers.

Lower tax rates, simplified slabs and minimal exemptions mean that the old regime is likely to lose favor starting FY 2025-26.

If you are planning to switch to the new tax regime in April, you should know that:

→ Many taxpayers traditionally invest in instruments like life insurance, ELSS and PPF primarily for the 80C deduction. If you’re moving to the new regime, which does not offer these deductions, reconsider before committing to long-term investments.

→ Even under the old regime, not all tax benefits come from investments. Expenses like tuition fees for up to 2 children qualify under Section 80C. Many parents ignore this, yet it’s an unavoidable cost that helps optimize tax savings without outflows.

→ Education-related costs like capitation fees, school bus charges and coaching classes do not count towards deductions. The term is ‘tuition fee,’ ensure this is explicitly mentioned in receipts.

The shift to the new tax regime means you must restructure your financial decisions.

If you’re still investing primarily for tax breaks, you need to align investments with long-term wealth creation instead.

With the space growing, how are you approaching tax planning for the coming year?

Women do not need “more skills” to succeed!

Everywhere I go lately, whether it’s in business meetings, at events, or even casual catchups, there’s an energy that's impossible to miss.

Women are taking over the room with ambition, clarity and an insane drive to make things happen.

The kind of work they’re doing, the conversations they’re leading, the outcomes they’re delivering, it’s powerful to experience that.

And honestly, it makes you realize that the problem was never a lack of talent. It was always a lack of opportunity.

For the longest time, the narrative made it sound like women needed to “catch up” to build more skills, gain more experience and become more confident. But give them even half the opportunity and the way they own it will blow your mind.

The value they bring to the table is in the way they lead teams, solve problems, build communities and raise the bar for everyone around them.

And what’s even better is that they’re doing it while staying authentic to who they are.

It is so good to see that when you invest in women, you see how industries, economies and communities grow.

And from what I’m seeing these days, trust me, we’re just getting started!

Ever felt stuck?
Have you ever felt like you're not making progress towards your goals, even though you're following a daily routine and moving forward in some way? I think it's a common feeling, and it can be discouraging to feel like we're not making the type of progress we hoped for.

I recently experienced something similar, realised that it had been around four months since I became Chartered Accountant but felt that I did not achieve much in these four months and this thought did not help me move ahead too because I kept thinking about it . So I made an effort to stand back and reassess what my goals were and the steps I was taking to achieve them, am I working in the correct direction to fulfil them? What changes can I make to my approach if not?

I also found it helpful to break my goals down into smaller, more manageable steps. This helped me to see progress in a more tangible way and to stay motivated along the way.
Another strategy that worked well for me was to seek out feedback from others. Whether it was from a mentor or a friend, getting input from others can helped me see things from a different perspective and to identify areas where I could improve.
Let me know if you have a better way to deal with this.

I believe that making progress towards our goals requires a combination of patience, persistence, and adaptability. It's important to stay focused on our goals and take consistent action towards them, but also to be willing to make changes and adjust our approach along the way. With this mindset, we can break out of the feeling of being stuck and continue to make progress towards our goals, no matter how challenging the journey may be.
