I have a great relationship with each of our 5 kids, but they are naturally drawn to their mother. They may come running in the house with exciting personal news and say, “Hey dad, Where’s MOM?!” Maybe you can relate?
I hope my boys realize how fortunate they are to have an amazing mother. I’ve heard that boys typically look to marry someone who reminds them of their mom, and they would be wise to do so.
She is confident and strong. She is friendly to everyone and has no guile. She is not jealous and does not gossip. She is brave and adventurous.
I know my boys are growing up with a healthy respect for girls and women because they respect and love their mom.
I believe that how men treat and respect women starts from modeled behavior in our families. (The media does so much to destroy respect for girls and women, so it’s got to be taught in the home)
