The CHANEL Fall-Winter 2024/25 Ready-to-Wear show took place at the Grand Palais ÉphĂ©mĂšre in Paris, in a seaside setting reminiscent of Deauville, which inspired Gabrielle Chanel the invention of an allure. Shrouded in mystery, the models seem to be walking along the mythical boardwalk of the French coastal town.

Chunky sailor sweaters and knits featuring the landscapes of Deauville alternate with silk blouses with middy collars, herringbone prints, low-cut tops with flounces, jumpsuits and negligees whose delicacy evokes gentle waves breaking and a soft wind blowing.

Cinematic, the collection imagined by Virginie Viard takes its vibrant or pastel shades from the ever-changing colours of the Deauville sky, along with brown and gold lamé. A nod to the relationship between CHANEL, the coastal town and the 7th art, cinematic references punctuate the silhouettes.

Behind the scenes of “Chiroptera“, a project by JR, Damien Jalet and Thomas Bangalter, presented as part of the Act II of “Retour Ă  la Caverne”, the collaboration between the Paris Opera, JR and 𝘭𝘩19M, the Parisian building dedicated to the savoir-faire of the Fashion and Interior Design MĂ©tiers d'art.

As part of the restoration works at the Palais Garnier, the Paris Opera invited JR to offer a visual metamorphosis of the institution’s monumental façade. Giving everyone a chance to take part in the creation of this art installation, hundreds of handprints were collected and embroidered during public workshops with Atelier Montex, a Maison d’art resident at 𝘭𝘩19M, the Parisian building dedicated to the savoir-faire of the Fashion and Interior Design MĂ©tiers d'art. They have been brought together to ornate the walls of the cavern in the style of cave art. The curtain rose to reveal an unprecedented show with 154 dancers choreographed by Damien Jalet on a music by Thomas Bangalter. Reminding the House's enduring commitment to creation and dance, the costume worn by Étoile dancer Amandine Albisson during her solo opening the show was designed and made by CHANEL. The House also supported the design and fabrication of costumes for the 153 dancers.
BEIGE GOLD. THE SIGNATURE GOLD COLOR OF CHANEL.

In 2015, gold and beige were merged together to transform into a new material: 18-karat BEIGE GOLD. The metal is used in both watches and fine jewelry, bringing a unique luster to each piece.

BEIGE GOLD is the expression of a creative gesture, distinguished by the subtle balance of its nuances. Hundreds of samples were developed to perfect its radiance. Composed of 750 thousandths of fine gold, this exclusive alloy stands apart for its sophistication and uncompromising quality.

Choosing BEIGE GOLD means wearing more than just a precious metal. It means donning the color of a truly CHANEL creation.

The Haute Joaillerie Sport Collection.

Designed to enhance the freedom of the body and the elegance of movement, the Graphic Line necklace is adorned with a lacework of diamonds and a 10.15-carat cushion-cut sapphire, sourced from an exceptional set of five stones from Kashmir. The chevron motif and the gradation of 24.35 carats of baguette-cut rubies in pure, simple lines evoke rhythm and speed.

Patrice Leguéreau, Director of the CHANEL Fine Jewelry Creation Studio, has taken on the challenge of making the reverse side of the necklace as beautiful as the front, displaying on the back the name of the House, a first in High Jewelry.
