What an incredible week! #SAPSapphire is always a unique opportunity for the entire SAP ecosystem to come together and learn from each other. This year is all about turning the hype around #GenerativeAI into reality, and we can confidently say we are right on track.

A huge #ThankYou to everyone who joined us, both live and online, and to the entire team who put this incredible event together! The passion and energy felt on the show floor was incredible.

Looking forward to continuing the great momentum at #SAPSapphire in Barcelona next week!

Back from a short trip to Spain for meetings with leading European CEOs as well as customers from the region.

At the meeting of the European Round Table for Industry - ERT, we discussed how companies can support the recovery efforts after the catastrophic floods in Spain. We also debated ideas to get Europe’s growth back on track – how we can make our economies globally #competitive and more #sustainable at the same time. I'm convinced that digitalization has a huge role to play in reaching this double goal. And we as Europeans can still do so much more to lift this enormous potential – for example, by working diligently to make Europe an “AI continent,” as incoming EU Commissioner Henna Vikkunen recently phrased it.

At my meetings with customers, we discussed the importance of the #cloud as the foundation for innovation. We talked about what this means for them on their cloud transformation journeys and how we work together to unlock the new opportunities technology offers.

Far-right violence is a growing concern worldwide, and all it takes for evil to win the war is for good people to stay silent. Join me in speaking up and supporting those who fight for an open #society and #tolerance. #integration #humanrights #democracy
Another exciting #SAPSapphire is in the books! In both Orlando and Madrid, we explored how we're helping customers take advantage of the unique flywheel effect of apps, data, and AI that only SAP can offer – faster, more simply, and at a lower cost.

Sapphire is always a great opportunity for the entire SAP ecosystem to come together to discuss how tech can help companies navigate their challenges and opportunities, but in times of rapid change, it's even more important than ever.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for #SAPSapphire, all of our guest speakers, and the entire team who put this incredible event together. See you again next time!

We are at the beginning of a new way of doing business – more #networked, more #intelligent, and more #sustainable. Catena-X is a great example showcasing how we can provide greater resiliency and transparency to the automotive value chain, improving its quality and efficiency for all companies involved.\nTogether with BASF, BMW Group, Henkel, Mercedes-Benz AG, Schaeffler, Siemens, T-Systems International, Volkswagen AG, and ZF Group, SAP is working on the future of the automotive industry:\n\nđŸ”č Creating an open and interoperable marketplace.\nđŸ”č Providing end-to-end data chains to trace and track material flows with full data sovereignty for all parties in an open, trusted, collaborative, and secure environment.\nđŸ”č Enabling use cases such as CO2, ESG monitoring, and circular economy management in the automotive value chain.\n\nCofinity-X marks another important milestone in this pioneering project, and one to which we are excited to contribute.
This week has been full of highlights, with lots of meetings with my SAP colleagues around the world.

First of all, thanks to the whole team at the SAP offices in Dublin and Galway for the incredible welcome, the insightful sessions, and – last but definitely not least – the new rugby jersey. I’ll definitely be cheering on Ireland tomorrow!

This week, we also held our global employee meeting back at our headquarters in Germany. As well as congratulating this year’s Hasso Plattner Founders’ Award winners, the meeting was also the perfect opportunity to officially welcome our new Chief People Officer Gina to the SAP team.

And today I got to close out the week with a Q&A session with our students and early talent community. It was another definite highlight and makes me even more excited about the next generation of leaders and #innovators at SAP.

The collaboration between universities and business is more important than ever in today’s rapidly evolving world and meeting with students is always a highlight for me. Not only because the exchange between these two fields plays a key role in driving #innovation, but also because today's students are tomorrow's pioneers and leaders.

This week, I spent some time with students at the Hasso Plattner Institute for a seminar on #GenerativeAI in Enterprise Software. The seminar was a great example of academia and industry coming together to discuss and explore the challenges and opportunities that arise with AI #technologies.
One of the main factors that contribute to a tour’s overall #CarbonFootprint is the fans‘ travel to and from the venue. To help make their tour as #sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible, Coldplay joined forces with SAP – and it’s a partnership I couldn’t be more excited about!

With the official Music Of The Spheres World Tour app, we are empowering fans to travel more sustainably to concerts, thus laying the foundation for sustainable touring in the future. To all the Coldplay fans who’ll be attending the concerts over the next months, have an amazing time!
Mental health has gained enormous importance during the pandemic. Whereas society has always championed the benefits of a healthy body, lockdowns and isolation once again really underlined how important it is to take care of our mental well-being.
Early in the COVID-19 outbreak, we heard a lot about how “we’re all in this together.” But as much as we’d like to think so, it's not always true. Everyone’s situation is different. Everyone faces their own set of challenges, from their living situation to underlying health conditions.
At work, we cannot underestimate the role that leadership plays in these times. While many skills are essential, I believe empathy stands out from the rest. I talked about this during this week's town hall at the SAP campus in Palo Alto. Empathy in the workplace means building trust, understanding the needs and goals of our colleagues, and shaping a work environment in dialogue with each other.
The pandemic has been a reminder for many that our #MentalHealthMatters. Let’s do our best to protect it. #WorldMentalHealthDay
