The poignant point about Kunal Kamra's newest video “Naya Bharat” is:
Everyone relates to atleast some bits of the video. He talked about:

·      The poor plight of Indian customers who have been cheated by some Electric vehicle company
·      Terrible roads and never-ending metro construction in major cities
·      Corporate employees paying more taxes than corporates
·      The killer (quite literally) air quality index in Delhi
·      The distractions used by those in power to not let the public notice the poor state of living

His stand-up comedy is not just a funny video, it is a daring social commentary.

It is super scary & sends shivers down my spine to think that henchmen of politicians have gone out in broad daylight and broken the entire studio where this video was shot?!

What era are we living in which allows such things to happen?

Someone expresses a contrarian point and those in power react like this?

Today it is Kunal Kamra, yesterday it was Ranveer Allahabadia, tomorrow it will be some other artist.

Unless you have some strange romantic/emotional relationship with a political party/politician, you will also relate to ATLEAST one of the things he spoke about.

A million things to fix in the nation, yet those in power choose to spend energy silencing contrarian views.

If this is not a shame to democracy, I don’t know what is.
