75% of us limit their career because of fear.

Fear of judgement.

The fear of judgment can be paralyzing. We've all been there, asking ourselves:

• What will others think?
• What if I don't succeed?
• Will I be ridiculed?

Interestingly, recent scientific findings point to a surprisingly simple yet effective technique to begin conquering this fear.

Studies have shown that swapping the thought “I am nervous“ with “I am excited“ can lead to a remarkable 20% improvement in performance across various situations, from public speaking to math tests.

So, consider this: viewing your fear as excitement might just be the key to unlocking better results.

Here are 5 more ways to overcome your fear of judgement.

1️⃣ Embrace Your Humanity:
↳ Understand that everyone doubts themselves.
↳ Sharing your vulnerabilities can lead to deeper connections.

2️⃣ Question Your Inner Critic:
↳ When negative thoughts appear, ask yourself if they're really true.
↳ Consciously replace them with positive affirmations.

3️⃣ Be Kind to Yourself:
↳ Treat yourself with the same care and compassion you'd give a friend.
↳ Focus on personal growth instead of self-blame.

4️⃣ Aim for Growth, Not Perfection:
↳ Don't chase an impossible ideal.
↳ Focus on making progress and getting better each day.

5️⃣ Let Your Intentions Lead:
↳ Remember the positive impact you want to have.
↳ Focus on your internal purpose rather than external judgment.

Attaching your worth to your career is a trap.
(Here’s how I escaped.)

For years, I chased:

The next role.
The next project.
The next “big opportunity.”

I told myself I was building a career.

But what I was really building was…

A cage.

Thank you Erica Williams Simon for this
powerful reminder.

While you’re busy climbing the corporate the ladder,
here’s what no one tells you:

Finding your purpose is what will (actually)
change your life.

Finding mine gave me:

Clarity.
Peace.
And power I didn’t know I had.

So, if you’re feeling stuck, drained, or disconnected,
ask yourself:

💥 What do I want to fight for in my work?
💥 What value am I unwilling to compromise on?
💥 What impact would I chase even if nobody noticed?

Because once you're grounded in purpose,
you stop asking:

“Am I doing enough?”

And start asking:

“Is this aligned with what matters most?”

That’s where real career transformation begins.

So ask yourself:

Are you building a life that looks successful?
Or one that feels meaningful to you?

🤝 Learning happens better together.

A concept everyone should know...

Inversion Thinking.

Image and post created by the amazing Colby Kultgen 🔥

It’s often easier to solve a problem by first asking what would guarantee failure.

Here’s how it works:

Instead of asking how to succeed, ask:
• What habits would make me unhealthy?
• What behaviors would ruin my relationships?
• What actions would kill my career?

Spot the mistakes that lead to failure, and you’ll know exactly what to avoid.

To be healthier:
❌ Stay inside all day → ✅ Get outside
❌ Skip workouts → ✅ Move more
❌ Make excuses → ✅ Show up consistently

To grow your career:
❌ Blame others → ✅ Take responsibility
❌ Work in isolation → ✅ Collaborate
❌ Avoid feedback → ✅ Ask for feedback regularly

By identifying failure first, you remove obstacles and make success inevitable.

Charlie Munger said it best:
“It is remarkable how much long-term advantage people like us have gotten by trying to be consistently not stupid, instead of trying to be very intelligent.”

The fastest way to build trust?
Choose better words. 🙃

Trust doesn’t start with a big speech.
It starts in everyday moments.
A hard conversation, mistake or moment of doubt.

I’ve learned this slowly:
Leaders rarely lose trust all at once.

The good news?
Small phrases can change the room.
Here are 12 I try to come back to:

✅ “I might be wrong. What do you think?”
✅ “You don’t need all the answers.”
✅ “I made a mistake, and I own it.”
✅ “Thank you for being honest with me.”
✅ “What do you need from me?”
✅ “I trust your judgment.”
✅ “Here’s what I can commit to.”
✅ “Let’s solve this together.”
✅ “I appreciate how you handled that.”
✅ “I noticed the effort you put in.”
✅ “I value your perspective.”
✅ “I’ve got your back.”

Simple words.

But when said with consistency and care,
that build something powerful: trust.

And trust is where real impact begins.
