If you know, you know ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

๐ŸŒŽ Do you work in a second language?

๐Ÿ™Š Have you ever started speaking to your colleagues in a completely different language out of the blue? (I must say, realizing the situation just from their perplexed faces is actually quite funny ๐Ÿคฃ)

๐Ÿน Have you ever felt the hamster in your head was giving up translating for the day?

Well, if you ticked these boxes, then you know how I feel..

I felt very insecure when I first started speaking/learning English and Spanish only a few years ago.
I did feel very little support, but very high judgement about my language skills.

I mentioned this before, I honestly felt stupid. I wish for none this feeling and I wish I had a more supportive working environment at the beginning of my career.

However, I'm so glad things changed and nowadays we do have a more understanding and inclusive surroundings.

Just remember..

Diversity is having a seat at the table,
Inclusion is having a voice,
and Belonging is having that voice be heard ๐Ÿงก

Happy Diversity Month everyone โœจ
