On the 9th of May 2022 we moved all full time employees to a four-day working week. The transition was done with no loss of pay and a new, shorter number of contracted hours (32).
I gained a fair bit of attention when I announced this and I promised many of you an update on how things progress..
It has taken longer than we expected to make the decisions (it always does!) but we are excited to announce that we consider the trial a success and we are rolling it out as a permanent thing.
We saw no drop in productivity and we have increased retention and attraction!
Full post is in the comments but the TL;DR - As long as you can measure and manage, it can and should be done!
My DMs are open for any journalists or publishers looking for a comment around the 4 day week and the practical implementation.
