I’m Holly. I’m 30. And today is my first day as an Apprentice.
I never went to uni. In fact, I never even finished my A Levels.
And I spent 10 years as a Recruiter with no training in anything else. But today I start a Marketing Manager Level 6 Apprenticeship with Cambridge Marketing College.
2+ years of learning, assessments and practical work ahead of me to start a career in something I never thought I’d be able to crack into. And I’ll do all of that whilst working in a job I can learn in, balancing being a working parent and ultimately getting a second chance to make a living out of something I love.
Turns out you’re never too old and it’s never too late.
