The # 1 problem with B2B content today:

A “company first“ mindset. When it should be “audience first.“

We're B2B marketers, of course we see our content as “our own.“

It's clearly an extension of our marketing.

So we plan it through a COMPANY FIRST lens.

Andddddddd that's the first big mistake.

It's easy to fall victim to.

🙋‍♂️ I'm 100% guilty of this.


But the most successful creators don't do this.

They are obsessed with creating AUDIENCE FIRST content.


📌 So here's your reminder:

Before you create another piece of top of funnel content...

REALLY ask yourself:

“Are we making this because our audience truly wants it?“

“Or because we WANT our audience to want it?“


Small distinction.

BIG difference.
