I became a prisoner of my own social media success.

A decade of growth, but I was too afraid to post…

I’ve been on Instagram since I was 14.

But lately, the reality I’m living and the one I’m sharing online have drifted so far apart they don't really resemble one another anymore.

So I stopped posting.

I focused entirely on LinkedIn (which has been incredible for Lanzi Media), but the creator in me felt suffocated.

I wanted to show up again, but I was paralyzed by overthinking:

- What will people think if I share this now?
- They don’t have enough context on my journey.
- What if they interpret this the wrong way?

When I finally broke the silence and shared my actual beliefs, it felt weird.

It felt like TMI.

But then I realized that this is exactly what my clients feel every single day.

Everyone talks about "authenticity," but actually sharing your actual internal journey, and not just the highlight reel, is terrifying.

But here is the reality:

We aren't performing surgery.

We are sharing thoughts.

The world will not end if someone disagrees with an opinion.

If you’ve been sitting on a draft because you’re worried about how it’ll be perceived, I’m in the trenches with you.

But your thinking is the only asset you actually own.

Don't let the fear of a "lack of context" keep your best ideas locked in your notes app.

Your perspective is the context.

Do you have something that you’ve been torn about sharing online recently? Drop it in the comments, I’d love to hear it.
