This video made me think… about the future of #education! Imagine 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 a history lesson instead of just reading about it… Walking through ancient Rome, standing in the middle of the Berlin Wall’s fall, or witnessing the moon landing firsthand.

Research indicates that the human brain processes images 60,000 times faster than text, with 90% of transmitted information being visual. This suggests that visual experiences can enhance memory retention significantly (𝘍𝘳𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘩𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘦). Now, imagine what this means for history lessons when we would finally integrate technologies like 𝗔𝗜 (Artificial Intelligence) & 𝗫𝗥 (Extended Reality, like AR & VR).

I wish we would integrate tech into learning much earlier—and learn tech by experimenting! 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲!

The system then uses powerful lasers to remove weeds without damaging the #plants, regardless of the time of day or weather conditions. This improves crop yields, lowers operating costs and supports sustainable, organic #farming practices.

Today, we're participating in the IT-Security Messe in Nuremberg. It's one of the leading #cybersecurity expos, and📍Deloitte is present at 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟱𝟮𝟬 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟳𝗔!

What exactly does “𝗰𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿“ mean? “Cyber“ comes from “cybernetics,“ an interdisciplinary science of controlling and regulating machines, organisms, and social systems. Today, it's more relevant than ever and is often used - as you may know - in relation to the digital world, helping to prevent online crime and protect networks & systems from digital threats.

At our stand, we’ll be covering various topics like Cyber Operate, GenAI, Cloud, Zero Trust, Regulations, IT security certifications, and IT-based data optimization with great partners like Palo Alto Networks and NVIDIA!

What fascinates me is how we take a holistic approach to cyber, with cross-business teams guiding clients from consulting to implementation and operational management. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲'𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆! 🏆

A side event that’s close to my heart was our 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 event! My dear colleague Isabelle Hahn was one of the panelists, discussing how companies can encourage more women to join the cybersecurity field, as currently, only 25% of cybersecurity professionals in Germany are women.

Last week I was in beautiful Zurich Winter Wonderland for a panel on Gen Z & the future of work. I was especially happy to finally meet & discuss with Yaël Meier, CEO of Gen Z consultancy ZEAM and largest LinkedIn account in Switzerland!

Key learnings from our Deloitte study on #GenZ:

✔️ 𝗕𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 - People aspire to meaning, your organisation's purpose and values need to be clear and at the heart of what you do to attract talent

✔️ 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀: It is critical for Swiss employers to strike the right balance when it comes to key topics such as hybrid working and the holistic workforce ecosystem.

✔️ 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲: Gen Z and Millennials need to be able to make a tangible impact, be heard and be part of the solution. Ensure your leaders understand the needs of the younger generations in their workforce in order to maximize the potential of their team.
