Here’s the no.1 thing I’ve learned about management:

It’s not about:

- Giving orders.
- Controlling every detail.
- Having all the authority.

Being a great manager =  being a great leader.

Focus on actions > words.

-Instead of saying the right things, do them.
-Instead of making promises, follow through.
-Instead of giving speeches, lead by example.

Real managers are leaders.
