I don’t work 40 hours a week.

Truth is I have no idea how many hours I work.

I’m so glad we now realize non shift work, shouldn’t be performed in shifts.

A wise friend told me recently. “I’ll give you 50 hours a week, just don’t ask it to be between 9-5”

The days of butts in seats are dead.

My family went to a Valentine’s party for the deaf community in Utah.

Since finding out our little Gigi is deaf my Wife has done an incredible job at diving into the deaf community.

I was so nervous to attend since we are new, and we don’t know sign yet. I asked questions like “how do I politely get someone’s attention when they aren’t looking?”

Thankfully there were interpreters and everyone was so patient with us.

I got tearful thinking about the support my little girl has from my wife actively learning a new culture.

My 3 year old already knows more sign than me, and is eager to show it off.
