We’re excited that Stability AI’s best, and most powerful text-to-image models are now in Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the first cloud provider to make these models available to customers.

They promise to speed the creative process and are a leap forward in generating high-quality, photorealistic images in seconds—saving time and giving an edge in reacting quickly to market trends.

We know these capabilities are important to customers, and we’re happy they can start creating with these exceptional models today. https://lnkd.in/gEkVhYfg

Excited to share that the new Llama 3.1 models from AI at Meta are now available on Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker. This gives customers more options for building GenAI apps with the best selection of leading models.

Lots of impressive capabilities here.

Llama 3.1 405B is one of the largest publicly available FMs, setting a new standard for AI. It’s ideal for enterprise applications and R&D, with new capabilities like synthetic data generation and model distillation.

Customers love the ability to customize and optimize Llama models on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for their individual use cases. And with Amazon Bedrock as the easiest place to build with Llama 3.1, we know customers will like these new models too.

Look forward to seeing what they’ll do with them. https://lnkd.in/gaURf856

Every summer we're joined by some of the brightest minds from universities around the world.

Our interns bring an incredible amount of energy to our teams across the globe, and it’s always refreshing to hear what’s on their minds. I had a chance to connect with this talented group for a great conversation led by former intern and now full-time Amazonian, Carmen De La Torre.

Big thanks to all our interns for choosing Amazon. I’m excited to see how your ideas will shape the future!

We are thrilled to team up with GE HealthCare to transform the future of healthcare with generative AI.

With AWS’s advanced AI technologies, GE plans to build specialized foundation models that can securely analyze all kinds of data like clinical records, medical images, and health monitoring info. This will help streamline clinical workflows, improve diagnostic accuracy, and help healthcare providers deliver more personalized care.

This is just the start of an exciting collaboration that has the potential to really accelerate innovation in healthcare. https://lnkd.in/gSYCANZZ

The pace of innovation with generative AI is incredible, and at the end of the day our goal is to give customers the best choice of foundation models and a really rich set of services so they can build what they need for their use case. Most importantly, they need an environment where they can trust their data and workloads are secure. Thanks for the conversation, Jon Fortt.
Werner’s final #AWSreInvent keynote was a reminder of what matters most: curiosity, clear thinking, ownership, and pride in the work you ship. Those principles built Amazon Web Services (AWS), and they’ll guide the next generation of builders shaping the AI era.

Thank you, Werner, for 14 years on the main stage.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) looks forward to working with President Trump, Vice President Vance, and the new administration on priorities important to our customers, employees, communities, and country.
Inspired by the conversations at J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference about how generative AI & cloud technologies can address pressing medical challenges and shape the future of healthcare.

Also excited to announce a new collaboration with General Catalyst, which combines AWS’s unmatched expertise in cloud and AI with General Catalyst’s proven track record in outcome-driven healthcare investment.

We’ll be leveraging Amazon Bedrock to offer an AI-powered, secure, resilient, and modern health IT stack that enables more personalized, accessible, and efficient care. Proud of Amazon Web Services (AWS)’s work with thousands of health care and life sciences customers building impactful, life-changing solutions. #JPM2025

The Linux Foundation’s new Agentic AI Foundation gives Model Context Protocol (MCP) a neutral home at a time when MCP has become a standard piece of agentic architecture.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has been all-in on MCP from the start—building open source servers, adding support in our tools, and contributing new capabilities like Tasks and Elicitations. We look forward to working with Anthropic and the broader community to keep strengthening this foundation for developers. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gExqsiDt

One of the most important announcements from last week was Amazon Nova Forge. With Nova Forge, customers get access to Nova’s pre-trained, mid-trained, and post-trained checkpoints and can mix in their own proprietary data at the right stage of training.

This “open training” approach lets customers build their own frontier model that keeps Nova’s reasoning and core intelligence while deeply understanding their business. The model can then be deployed on Amazon Bedrock with the same enterprise-grade security, scalability, and data privacy as all other Bedrock models.

The ability to build your own model with Nova is something we know customers will love and we think it will change how organizations build with AI. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g8AeM8sW?
What an incredible week at #AWSreInvent. Thank you to our customers, partners, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) teams for the energy and the ideas you brought. I’m looking forward to everything we’ll build together from here.
