The average millionaire has 7 streams of income.

Millions is not the point, the behavior is.

__________

One purpose of earning salary should be to create one.

If not, here's a predictable cycle.

College: get a good salary and you’ll be fine.

Industry: we’ll give you a good salary for now.

Consumerism: buy me. Don’t worry you’ll make more.

Recession/layoff/age out: sorry, tough times, need salary back

__________

Break the cycle.

Self education: Use salary to create PERMANENT income (real estate, digital products, dividend income, business, etc). You control them. They don’t shut off involuntarily.

Because they’re permanent, so is lifestyle.

Hired 1997. Added first stream (real estate) in 2002.

Left 2021 with 2000+. Some $50/month, some $2000.

Real estate is one kind. Find one that works for you. Worth the effort. You don’t have to leave work. I stayed for 25 years. Give yourself life options.

Used police, military, consulting career incomes as leverage.

Use yours.

A gift I received 13 years ago... “Your life in Days“. I want to give the gift of “awareness“ to you.

Partially why I retired from all employment in the last 2 years, and also why I turned down a $200K+ job offer this month. “More“ money and another title is not always the answer (unless it’s purposeful to you, family or community).

The average 79 year life span is 28,835 days, if we're lucky. I have about 11,095 (assuming I make it). Measuring life in years is abstract. Measuring in days makes things very real. Time Freedom MATTERS.

Should be a goal as much as revenue at work or next promotion.

Work life has a way of putting us on auto-pilot, forgetting what's important (sometimes). 'TIME' is not coming back.

This very intentional tool has been a solid decision driver for me for years. Anytime I'm asked to or think about doing something, I look to see if I can afford it.

Hope this helps you too.
