This week I celebrated my five-year anniversary LinkedIn. When I joined, we were a scrappy team of about 15 editors. Now we’re 65+ editors strong, all focused on bringing news and views to the platform’s 650+ million professionals.
In the five years since joining from The Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong, I’ve brought #StudentVoices to the platform through my creation of the LinkedIn Campus Editor Program, experimented and developed strategies for engaging members, interviewed influential names and experts across many industries, and captured the career stories of successful people through my #HowIGotHere video series.
I’ve been inspired by my team and feel blessed to work with a group of skilled and genuinely good people. I’ve also enjoyed working with some incredibly smart product folks: engineers, UX designers, data scientists and more.
As I take on the opportunity to manage editorial’s new Audience Development and Distribution team, I’m looking forward to more growth and great experiences.
