Watch this 53 second masterclass on failure. It’s made me reflect on 3 things:

1. Is there a difference between losing and failing?

2. He doesn’t seem to have much fear of failure.
- Instead he views it as a necessary part of success.
- This framing is so powerful because he can bounce back quicker.

3. Just because you can’t see it yet, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
- success requires both urgency and patience
- be urgent about putting in effort and patient about seeing results.

Curious, do you think it’s a good question to ask? And did you like his answer?

♻ repost to to help someone else with failure

P.s I bet Eric won’t dare to ask this question next year 😂
Today I am speaking at Tottenham Hotspur stadium to 450 PwC employees!

Pwc are on a mission to improve performance and wellbeing

And I’m helping them do it.

Employees are high performing atheltes.

And that’s why they need:

- The tools to balance high performance with well-being
- a strong vision and purpose
- To invest in their confidence and resilience frequently

But 90% of companies don’t do this.

Today I will be teaching:
- outcome visualisation for confidence
- how to take individual ownership of your mind and performance.
- how to be more resilient in achieving goals

And of course guiding them through a live visualisation experience!

When you treat employees like high performing athletes, the game changes.

Quite fitting that the location is a football stadium.

Let’s go 🚀🚀

According to psychology you have to ask someone ‘how are you’ 7 times before they will actually tell you.

7 times!!!!

Out of habit we immediately say:

‘Fine thanks’
‘All good you’

But don’t actually say what’s going on.

It’s destroying human connection, health and performance.

Instead try these:

1. How are you feeling physically and mentally?

2. What’s taking up most of your headspace right now?

3. Are you excited about anything today?

4. What’s your sweet and sour? (I do this at the start of every session with my clients)

5. What’s energising/draining you these days?

Small change. big BIG difference.

P.s take action on this today!! The next call you have or person you meet, ask them one of these questions instead and just see the change in their response! Even do it on yourself
