Finally, I reached 50k followers on LinkedIn in just 50 days!
I guarantee you haven't heard about the trick I have used to get that number on the internet before. If you have, please share the link in the comments section.
Please spare 2 minutes of your time.
đJust 50 days ago, I had only 39k followers. That means I increased my followers by 11k in 50 days!
This post is particularly special and dear to me.
I planned for it months in advance and refined it multiple times.
đI'd love to share the roller-coaster of emotions I've been through, but I won't bore you with the details.
Now, I'm about to reveal the secret behind this growth.
Wondering what type of content goes viral on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is distinct, especially when compared to platforms like Quora, Instagram, and YouTube.
For instance, I used to share the same content on LinkedIn and Quora.
You know what the result was?
đOn Quora, I received backlash when I discussed making money through social media. But on LinkedIn, you all were incredibly supportive.
Thus, understanding the platform is essential.
To help, I'll share a few insights about the LinkedIn audience:
1. Post content related to your daily challenges. It stands a better chance of going viral than content about your achievements. Why? Most active LinkedIn users are already successful in their careers. They can't relate to incessant success stories. Share your journey, your struggles.
2. Use numbers in your hooks, like I did. While I could've written â50k in 49 daysâ (which was the case), I chose not to. Did you notice the pattern? It sparks curiosity.
3. If sharing photos, ensure the background is minimalistic. This taps into the audience's psychology, making them more likely to engage with your post.
4. If you're sharing a quote, handwrite it. A quote is personal, and what's more personal than your handwriting?
5. When drafting your post, decide on the value you're providing to your audience. Plan this in advance. Write as if you're hosting a podcast, and imagine it'll be featured on a major YouTube channel. Pour your heart into it.
6. If you're just starting out, experiment with different niches. Within a couple of months, you'll likely identify the type of content that resonates most with your audience.
đIn conclusion, I deeply appreciate each one of you for allowing me to be a part of your lives. I promise to keep delivering top-notch content.
I genuinely hope you prosperânot just because I wish you well, but also so I won't have to foot your coffee bill! đ
If you found value in this post, consider following me. If not, stay tuned; I promise my upcoming content will captivate you.
Cheers â¤ď¸
