Do not and I repeat DO.NOT. use quotes by the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., PhD IF you are not going to stand by them after they are posted today. Dr. King was assassinated, he did not die; IF you do not understand that please don’t quote him.
Do not quote him to spite those who are actively seeking justice. Do not quote him to silence the rage of the oppressed. Do not and I repeat DO.NOT. quote him today or any day after if you don’t believe in his work IN TOTALITY and not just when it benefits you or your ego.
To all those who fight for justice and liberty remember that you are an integral part of the dream and you are what he saw when he looked down from the mountain top. You are the dream he saw all those years ago. Stand in your greatness! Rest well, brother Martin and we’ll see you again, after while.
