My Maddie has passed away and my heart is broken. I will never stop missing her but I will focus on the enormous blessing she was in my life and the lives of those she knew her.
Those who know me, know that Maddie went everywhere with me. I bought a big four door car just so my two big girls (Maddie and Sophie) would be comfortable riding around with me.
Maddie had a very good, long (17 years) life and I thank God that she came to me seven years ago as an adult adoption from friends who went though a separation. I never could have anticipated how much I would come to love this wonderful dog.
RIP Maddie I will always love you.

This is an unpublished photo of Clint Eastwood and I rehearsing a fight scene for Heartbreak Ridge.
➡️ I treasure this photo because 35 years ago I was blessed to be cast in film staring and directed by Clint Eastwood - an American treasure and global icon who is still working at 91. #🇺🇸
➡️ We shot this scene on a hot July day at the Camp Talega area of Camp Pendleton on SoCal.
➡️ Clint had a very specific way that he wanted the scene to go. We rehearsed for 10 minutes, then when the lights, camera and actors when ready, we shot the entire scene (several camera angles and generally two takes per set-up - in less than an hour.
➡️ I want to thank all the real Recon guys who where cast in the film as background performers/technical advisors who helped in making HBR the fan favorite that it is.

Four days out from my total hip replacement and felling good yet taking care of business.
➡️ I had a rough initial 48 hours post-op which led to a great deal of swelling in my leg/hip. This swelling will slow my healing so I’m implementing RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation).
➡️ Most important is to stay positive and please know that I appreciate all of you who have liked, commented, prayed or held thoughts for my safe and complete recovery. Good bless.
