We did it!! Today, GE HealthCare celebrates our Founders Day. I can feel the energy of our new company buzzing all around me. I’m honored to share this moment with the world – our people, providers, patients, investors, industry stakeholders and more. I’d like to thank everyone who helped get us here, those who came before us and our colleagues today, and share a bit about what you can expect from our new company. #LetsgoGEHC
I’m heading into the weekend with a big smile on my face after a fantastic Investor Day for GE Healthcare at Nasdaq yesterday. Thanks to everyone who joined in to hear more about our future growth strategy and how we help clinicians provide care that’s more precise and personal to patients around the world. I’m so proud of our team for all they’ve done to get to this point…the best is yet to come! #LetsGoGEHC

The war in Ukraine continues to take its toll on millions of people, and the need for life-saving medical equipment remains critical. Today, we announced plans to donate $1 million worth of GE Healthcare patient bedside monitors and ultrasound devices for diagnosing and treating patients in and out of hospitals -- our second equipment donation this year.

We continue to help when and where we can and remain hopeful that providing life-saving medical equipment will allow healthcare workers in the region to care for patients under these difficult circumstances. https://lnkd.in/ehbZ3n9t
Today, GE HealthCare released second-quarter 2023 earnings. We are pleased with the results we delivered in the first half of the year - most of which are fueled by the outstanding work of our global teams. Here are the comments I made during the earnings call.
It’s great to be back in Buc, France!

This week, Jay Saccaro and I have the pleasure of meeting with colleagues, customers, and investors in Buc and Paris to discuss GE HealthCare’s growth strategy and how we are delivering on the future of healthcare.

We’re five months into our journey as a new company, and the excitement is palpable.

We kicked off the week with a town hall in our newly renovated offices in Buc where the new paint was as bright as our future! Roland Rott, Rob Walton and Jan Makela joined me and a full house of colleagues to discuss our vision, priorities, and the important role we play in supporting providers and patients. We talked about precision innovation and our focus on care pathways to better connect the patient journey - and so much of that work occurs here in Buc.

From researching and developing our vascular and mammography devices, to creating advanced visualization and virtual reality tools for Imaging, I learned a lot about how the Buc teams are working to deliver on our purpose of creating a world where healthcare has no limits.

At GE HealthCare, we’re committed to helping solve customer challenges to make healthcare easier and more flexible for patients and providers. It’s not always easy, but it’s certainly inspiring.  Like one of my favorite authors, Carol Dweck, said, “This is hard. This is fun.”

During my visit, one of my favorite takeaways was a shirt the team gave me. It’s a reminder of the importance of #teamwork - which is not only about winning together, it’s making sure you have fun, solve problems, and improve together.
