👋 Friends,
I am truly overwhelmed by all your congratulatory wishes. Over the past few weeks, after saying goodbye to my executive role at Samsung, I got that much needed break to refresh, reconnect with friends and nature, spend some fun time with Aevum and Aiona, as well getting back on my healthy routine and sports.
As promised, I want to keep you all posted on what I am really excited about these days as I plan further. Mainly there are two things.
First, as you know, I have always been passionate about making science fictions into realities. From IIT Bombay to Microsoft, and from MIT to Samsung, I enjoyed pushing the boundaries and paved the way for new innovations that can change our world - AR, VR, Wearables and more. Now, unhindered by any big corporate boundaries, I along with a few close friends are starting on an adventure to pursue a new dream, one small idea at a time. In particular, we are excited about the intersection of AI and Metaverse. We are just beginning, so watch out for more updates on this soon.
Second, Yijia and I have recently formed an NGO called MistryLand, through which we plan to participate and help fund projects and activities that are close to our heart, especially focusing on preservation of nature and bringing power of science and technology to the grassroots, like places in India where I come from. Yijia and I were already involved with few such activities and with MistryLand it will give us a convenient channel to bring efficiency in our efforts.
