▪️When I went to a tier-3 college that had an average placement of 3-4L, I was disappointed.

▪️When I saw many orgs writing “should belong to a tier1/2” in minimum qualifications, I was upset again.

▪️When I saw orgs organizing diversity hiring, I wondered why during my college days.

▪️When I applied at so many places and never got a callback. I felt disappointed and out always during my final years.

Something I always said to myself and my juniors in college, “ek mauka ek din aaega, usko jaane mat dena bas”.

That is how I got my first placement at Media.net. It was the first big organization in terms of the package offered that gave me an interview chance.

Always grateful 🙏🏻

Don't just screen-share and show your project, rather show them the process you followed.

As a single individual, it is very tough to build something big, and people interviewing you do understand it. They usually look for different aspects while passing your judgment.

Before your interviews, make a presentation, and you can follow the below flow while making it:

🎯 Problem Statement: Highlight the problem that inspired your project.
🔧 Tech Stack Used: Explain your tech choices and the reasons behind them.
💰 Cost Estimate: Break down project components and compare predicted vs. actual time.
📈 High-Level Design: Use visuals to showcase project architecture and flow.
🎬 Demo: Bring your project to life with GIFs or engaging screen-sharing.
⚡ Challenges Faced: Discuss hurdles and the approaches you took to overcome them.
📑 Low-Level Design (optional): Offer an overview of your code structure.

During interviews, use screen-sharing effectively with this presentation and guide interviewers through your thought process. Interviewers look at multiple angles while making an opinion about your work. If you just share your screen and explain, you might end up missing out on many important things because of the interview pressure.

Visual things have a greater appeal always, just like what a picture does to the Linkedin algorithm.

I almost completed 4 months at Google, and the time here has been amazing till now. The culture here keeps me refreshed everyday.

A huge shoutout to my manager Bartłomiej Koper for making the onboarding easy and swift.

Looking forward to learning more in the upcoming time.

Give the title as “EXPOSING”, and then term people as “gadha”, “chu**y*“, “kya hi kiya hai inhone”, “koi nai puchta inhe”, “mom dad ne kya sikhaya hai”, “inhe google facebook interview k lie puchta bhi nai hai”, much more below the belt lines and then provoke the innocent first years to throw me abuses. Anyways, the best reply I can give is the below life update.

Life UPD:

I am glad to announce that I have received offers from Facebook London and Google Warsaw last week and will be joining one of them very soon.

“Nothing in life is permanent, be humble, will always help you in long run“

BDW I prepared from “Striver SDE sheet”, you can use that too.

System Design Roadmap on takeUforward 👇🏼

Couple of months back, collaborated with Gaurav to create a System Design Sheet which can be used by any one who is starting of.

It has 70 modules, most of the modules have video explanations by Gaurav and there are wonderful blogs attached to it as well.

It is not overwhelming as the other roadmaps are, you can start with zero prerequisites.

In the last 2 months, we have had 100K users accessing this roadmap 🙏🏻 which is a really good sign, sharing it on Linkedin for first time, in case you have not checked it out yet.

Concerns are growing over the decreased number of off-campus hiring drives this year.

I have a gut feeling that we might revert to the pre-COVID era, where opportunities were limited. Therefore, it's critical to participate in every hiring drive that comes along.

Here are the current events taking place at Unstop :

▪️Flipkart Grid 5.0 is happening now, where Flipkart is offering Pre-placement Interviews (PPIs). If you pass, you might secure an internship that pays 1L per month or receive a full-time offer of 32 LPA. There are also cash prizes up for grabs in the hackathon.

▪️Bajaj Finserv is gearing up for Hackrx 4.0, offering both internship and full-time opportunities. Additionally, the hackathon boasts a cash prize pool of 10L.

▪️Contentstack is seeking talent via Techsurf 2023, with full-time roles around 15 LPA available.

▪️Tally Solutions is hosting Tally Codebrewers 2023, through which they are hiring.

▪️Aditya Birla is also organizing a hiring drive, focused on management roles.

The picture below reminds me of the only internship opportunity I got in the last year of my college.

Similar hackathons, and hiring drives keep happening at Unstop throughout the year. You must keep an eye around it, and sign up so that you don't miss out on any upcoming opportunities.

You can be a dev, you can be a competitive programmer. You can be anyone. But on a public platform if you are attacking most* of the entire community, have the courage to read the counter points.

Blocking the profile because the comment got 70ish likes in 10 minutes is something which people with “God complex” do. Have you ever heard a CP guy saying GSOC is sh**. You will not, because we respect every field. Every field has its own advantages/disadvantages. You also need to accept this.

Its a good thing to spread awareness on things you do best. But spreading awareness != taking down other field always. Been noticing this from long.

Next time you wanting to put your perception on socials, only put if you are willing to hear others and not run away by blocking or deleting every other comment which speaks opposite to your views.

A few months back, when I was in LA, 7-Eleven was my go-to store for food, water, snacks, and all the little essentials.

Just a few days ago, I had the chance to visit their amazing office in Bangalore for a roundtable discussion with the tech team, along with Arsh Goyal and Riti Kumari.

I’ve been to quite a few offices around the world, and the 7-Eleven Global Solution Center – India office in Bangalore clearly draws inspiration from some of the larger, well-designed spaces I’ve seen.

I also got to chat with the VP Jennifer Goschke, which was super insightful. We talked about their expansion plans in India and how they’re focusing on keeping attrition low by giving employees the freedom and support they need to build great careers.

If you’re interested in updates like hiring and other news, it’s worth keeping an eye on 7-Eleven Global Solution Center – India

It’s nice to see international companies investing in India. It’s good for everyone, and I’m excited to see how it all shapes up.

TUF has compiled 170-180 questions based on all the interview experiences at GFG and company tags at Leetcode. 180 questions have been zeroed down in such a way that once you complete them, you will have all the concepts that are required to clear any interview of the product based companies and most of the questions will be common.

Also, TUF has started a placement series(it is free), so if you are someone who is looking to get into product based companies, you can follow the placement series. The explanation of approaches are language independent, and I explain the code in C++ as well as in Java.

ATTRACTION of the SERIES: I just don’t solve the problem, I tell you in the video, how you are going to present it in the interview, because an interview is not about just saying the solution of a problem, it has other factors involved too. The series is in C++ and Java, Python people can also watch it, since the explanations of the approach are language independent.

Placement Series: https://lnkd.in/dRz4RZC

Just a thought, will people comment for better reach, since no one shares these stuffs usually :P

Graphs, is considered to be one of the tougher topics in DSA. So I decided to come up with an entire series so that anyone willing to learn should not miss anything.

The series comprises of 27 videos, both in c++ and java, and it contains the dry run of multiple examples. Hence the length of the videos might seem 4/5 mints longer than usual.

The point where the series standout from every other series is that every video contains a portion where the intuition of the algorithm is explained.

If you willing to learn this topic, do give it a try, link is in the first comment.

Below are the important LinkedList Interview Questions:

1. Reverse a LinkedList
2. Remove the N-th node from the end of the LinkedList
3. Find the middle of the LinkedList
4. Merge two sorted linked lists
5. Delete a node when the address of node is given
6. Add two numbers given as Linked list
7. Find the intersection point of two linked lists.
8. Detect a Cycle in Linked List
9. Check for Palindromic Linked List
10. Reverse Nodes in K-groups size
11. Finding the starting point of the Linked List
12. Flattening of a Linked List
13. Rotate a Linked List by K places
14. Clone a Linked List by next and random pointers

I have finally uploaded all the tutorial videos for them. The most important thing that I kept in mind while making these videos was to explain the intuition behind every algorithm. Also in the videos, you will find the brute, better, and the best solution, because that is how you express in an interview. Adding to that, there are also code explanations in C++ and Java.

You can find the link for the series in the first comment. If you planning to watch anytime later, do consider subscribing to the channel because you will find a lot of tutorials here.

The train number “TREE_79” is arriving on platform “TUF” on 20th August 12:00 pm.

A video might look of 10 minutes, but you don’t know the backside. Just thought of sharing a snap when I recorded the upcoming tree series, so that you too stay motivated while watching it 😎

Lets get back to work!!!

Check out the Major Announcement Video from the first comment. Announcing the Biggest Ever Playlist in terms of number of videos in both C++/Java on this topic.

I will leave it to you, to decide how good it is :)

I am a firm believer that language does not matters as long as you are good at logic.

I won’t announce and make, I will release the entire set of videos(50+) on a single day. Lets do it differently at takeUforward.

More details in first comment.

One thing I love about India is its innovative spirit!

I recently got my hands on Noise X Airtel Payments Bank Smart watch that helps me to tap and pay without any hassle. I don’t need to take out my phone every time to pay, it’s the smartwatch that does the job for me.

It is enabled with Mastercard-powered NFC chips that will benefit you by making payments seamlessly. It’s infused with multiple features that would help you let go of worrying about carrying multiple cards and will keep your hands work-free as it’ll take care of the majority of day-to-day tasks.

I feel this tech innovation will help make our lifestyle convenient and also elevate our personality with its sleek look.

You can get all these features without being burdened on your wallet because it’ll just cost you just Rs. 2,999 which again is a great cost for such advanced technology.

I'm looking forward to such tech creations with multiple use cases by Noise!
