BEING A DAD MEANS EMBRACING THE JOY

Being a dad sometimes means setting aside pride and being willing to look a little foolish—all for the sheer joy and laughter of our kids. A dad’s role in a child’s life is more than providing guidance or discipline; it’s about building moments that let a child feel loved, secure, and confident. The kind of moments that make kids feel like their world is filled with warmth and laughter.

These small acts, where dads don’t mind making a fool of themselves, have a long-lasting impact. They show children that love isn’t always serious or quiet; it can be goofy, loud, and lighthearted. Mark Twain once said, “To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with.” And who better to share that joy than a dad who doesn’t take himself too seriously?

Hopefully, these children grow up with cherished memories of a dad who wasn’t afraid to dance around, make silly faces, or tell funny stories just to see them smile.

The later part of the post shows the little boy when the actual bikers are greating him. ▶️ Video footage is used like this in every documentary you watch where actual footage is not available.

How do you comfort others who feel vulnerable?

The most important thing you can do for someone who is feeling vulnerable is to simply be there for them.

Let them know that you are listening and that you care about what they are going through.

Avoid trying to fix their problems or offer #advice unless they specifically ask for it.

It is important to let the person know that their #feelings are valid. Don't try to tell them how they should feel or that they shouldn't be feeling the way they are. Simply acknowledge their feelings and let them know that it is okay to feel them.

Let the person know that you are there for them and that you will #support them in any way that you can.

#Encourage them to seek professional help. If the person is struggling to cope with their feelings, encourage them to seek professional help.

A #therapist can help them to understand their emotions and develop healthy #coping mechanisms.

Tubs is an incredibly friendly dog with a heart full of love.

One day, while sitting out front of his home, his owner noticed just how excited and happy Tubs became whenever someone walked by.

His tail wagged, his eyes lit up—he was practically begging for attention.

Wanting to share Tubs’ joy with the world, his owner put up a sign inviting passersby to stop, say hello, and give him a hug.

It didn’t take long for people to notice.

Soon, neighbors and strangers alike were pausing in their day to pet Tubs, and in return, he gave them something priceless—pure, unconditional happiness.

A simple act of kindness, a wagging tail, and a friendly sign turned into something bigger—a reminder that sometimes, all we need is a little connection.

Yes nature is full of many things we are yet to understand but if we open our eyes and ears it will speak to us.

Like all living things it can be loud and demanding, but also be quite and gentle.

Rather than tell us to intrude on its balance, it asks us to understand and accept that it is built to withstand changes and make its own adjustments as it has done for millions of years.
