SaaStanak felt like a vacation with people who happen to build super valuable stuff.
Without pitches, forced networking or stupid questions, this conference provide a real conversations with real people.
tbh, I don't have a lot conferences in my life.
I skipped some workshops. Missed a few keynotes.
But still walked away with more than most conferences gave me.
I won 2nd place in the hackathon with Lovable and Paddle.
But honestly - watching what others built was the highlight. Everyone brought ideas I didn't think were possible yet.
Shout out to the Paddle team for sponsoring event; they really make the blend of UK and Balkan vibes work together. It works perfectly well.
Also, fun fact...
I get the feeling all the time I was part of the SaaStanak crew that organized this and somehow that happened as well but that is a story for another post.
And without the SaaStanak crew - none of my moments would exist.
(thank you guys - I wish LinkedIn can be longer post so I can tag you all)
As a true leader of this conference, Leonard Eldić made SaaStanak more vibing rather than forcing something to show up.
And you'd never know. He never acted like "the guy."
He was more just someone doing everything for everyone else.
That says everything about him. -> Thank you Sir
Special shout-out for my locals from Bosnia and locals from Sibenik who make me feel more comfortable to be myself. Thank you. Faris Sehovic Ema Hasicevic Linard Murtezani Ante Banić (you know the vibe)
And to every new friend I made there - the friendship was real.
That's the thing. That's what made it different.
Showing up as yourself works.
SaaStanak proved it.
thank you all 🙏
p.s.
I didn't take a single photo of the SaaStanak event because I was afraid I would miss something in real life. I think this will tell you what was the vibe
these photos in this post was from SaaStanak team so I steal them LoL
