A new page in this chapter of SUEZ's history opens today! I’m proud to have presented alongside my team our new 2027 strategic plan.
This plan offers innovative solutions to the historical challenges we are facing in the water and waste markets. My ambition is for SUEZ to become the trusted partner for circular solutions in our industry.
In the next 5 years, we will deploy an ambitious and sustainable growth strategy based on an unprecedented investment capacity. We will invest, alongside our customers, €860M more than the previous period, while increasing our R&D budget by more than 50% in the solutions that differentiate our Group. We will carry on investing in the digital and technologies that play a key role in the preservation or rare resources.
The acquisition of our former waste activities in the United Kingdom, Suez R&R UK, is fully aligned with this strategy. Our new water purification contract in India, the largest ever signed by our Group in the country, also embodies our progress towards a diversified and geographically strategy.
I know that I can count on our 35,000 employees to put their passion, expertise, and commitment to the environment at the service of our customers and society. I share with them the conviction that SUEZ can play a crucial role in improving the quality of life of all populations worldwide.
