Please share with any parents of 6th-12th graders who are looking for something different.

Khan World School ( khanworldschool.org ) is expanding to 6th-12th grade! Our first year was incredible. We had a blast and the students learned a ton in the process (and so did I)!

The academic results were frankly hard to believe, but we double and triple checked. Based on the ExactPath assessment, our students saw:

4.6x typical growth in math (or 460% acceleration)
3.4x typical growth in reading
5.3x typical growth in language arts

It is free to anyone in Arizona (make sure folks in Arizona know)! It is $10,000 outside of Arizona. I know that is a lot for a lot of families, but there are scholarships. We also hope to offer for free in more states in the future.

My vision for Khan Academy is to make education truly accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn and succeed, and want Khan Academy to help make that happen.

The future of education is personalized and adaptive. Khan Academy will be a place where students can learn at their own pace with learning tailored to their individual needs. We also see Khan Academy as a valuable resource for teachers, supporting and empowering them to do their best work.

I also believe in today's world, we should not have to accept that a student's zip code determines the quality of their education. We need to make high-quality learning resources available to everyone, regardless of where they live or how much money they have.

We have the potential to reach millions of students around the world to help them learn and succeed. But we can't do it without your help.
