Sanchie Shroff will be joining Harvard Business School for her MBA in 2023 ... OR shall I say, In the coming term, Harvard Business School will have Sanchie Shroff in its MBA class (2023-2025).
#Sanchie's story has left me totally speechless. She is the first-ever person to have attended college from her entire family.
Starting her life from #Patna, Bihar, she had a ton of odds stacked against her.
๐ Struggled to find quality education till the age of 10 (studied in complete Hindi medium)
๐ Parents extremely supportive even though they didn't even have college education
๐ Her extended family was against her decision of moving to Delhi for her graduation
๐ Overcoming all the barricades life threw at her far and wide, she earned her seat at Shri Ram College of Commerce (#SRCC), the best school of business & commerce in the Nation and became the first graduate in her family.
Without stopping there, she paved her way forward, completely on her own and went on to work for some of the finest names that exist: McKinsey & Company, WestBridge Capital, and SoftBank Investment Advisers.
And now, sheโs on her way to sit in the #MBAClassof2025 at Harvard Business School.
She dedicates all her success to her parents, her biggest cheerleaders who, while fighting immense odds, made sure that #Sanchie gets to have the best education possible, so she could have the life and career she was capable of and richly deserved.
