This is Qatar's first solar power plant at $467 million, with 1.8 million solar panels covering over 10 square kilometers according to CGTN News.

It's incredible.

Generators are key for backup or startup (initial plant operation before power is fed from the grid) electricity demand, especially in industrial or commercial facilities.

Losing electricity in such facilities could lead to significant financial loss.

Typically, there is a need for an on-site backup power supply. This makes such generators so important to keep the flow of processes.

However, vibrations due to natural events could cause damage to generator parts and hence decrease performance, shorten engine/generator lifespan, or even increase noise levels during operations.

The test in this video is a great illustration.
But what do you think about it? Was it too rigorous?
