The real reason people quit their jobs might surprise you.

It's not always about the work itself.

It's about who you work for.

Here are the qualities to look out for:

✅ Leads by example
✅ Opens career doors
✅ Develops you as a leader
✅ Recognises and rewards you
✅ Inspires you to stretch higher
✅ Defends you when we need it
✅ Tells you that your work matters
✅ Forgives you when you make mistakes
✅ Provides you with a safe space to grow

Your boss can make or break your career.

Choose wisely.

Good leaders are everywhere.

But here's how to go from good to great

Great leaders know that mistakes are stepping stones, not stumbling blocks. They support their people. Always.

Here's how great leaders handle mistakes:

1. They own the moment 🛡️
• Take responsibility immediately
• No finger-pointing
• No excuses
• Just clarity and action

2. They protect their team 🤝
• Address issues privately
• Celebrate wins publicly
• Share credit for success
• Take blame for failures

3. They focus on solutions 💡
• What can we learn?
• How do we improve?
• What systems need updating?
• Which processes need fixing?

4. They create psychological safety ✨
• Encourage open discussion
• Welcome feedback
• Make it safe to fail
• Build trust through transparency

5. They lead by example 🌟
• Admit their own mistakes
• Show vulnerability
• Demonstrate growth
• Share their learnings

Leadership is not about perfection, it's about supporting your people at every chance you get.

I've met some of the most incredible and successful managers and they all do these 4 things every single day...

1) They make sure everyone in their team feels truly valued

Whatever their role, whatever their experience, whatever their results, they always make them feel valued

People that feel valued work a lot harder than those that don't

2) They support their team in every possible way that they can

Whether that's providing the best tools, providing the best training, the best coaching, or joining them and working along side them

3) They make sure everyone in their team feels empowered

They want everyone to feel like they can achieve anything so everyday they come to work feeling empowered to thrive and succeed

4) They motivate and inspire their teams

It sounds simple but it's important. The best leaders listen to each person individually to find out what motivates them

Everyone is different and everyone has different motivations (which also are likely to change)

Unfortunately I've met a lot of managers who do the opposite of these things...

They don't make their team feel valued at all
They offer no support
They power over their team
They offer zero motivation

If you work for a great manager tag them here

Let's acknowledge all of the amazing leaders out there.

People don’t leave jobs—they leave bad leadership.

A paycheck isn’t enough anymore.
People want:
✅ Purpose in their work
✅ A leader who values them
✅ A culture where they can grow

If your employees are just showing up instead of being engaged, the problem isn’t them—it’s the environment you’ve created.

The best leaders give people a reason to stay.

What’s one thing leaders can do to make work more meaningful? 👇

Your title doesn't make you a leader.

It's earned through your actions.

Great share by: The Creator Accelerator by Chris Donnelly

According to a Harvard Business Review survey,
58% of employees would trust a stranger over their own boss.

Bosses aren't intentionally bad at their jobs.
They just don't understand how to lead.

With that in mind…
Here are the 6 things that make up the best leaders:

👁️ Your Vision
💪 Your Integrity
💥 Your Actions
🤲 Your Empathy
🗣️ Your Communication
🤝 Your Accountability

All of these combine to create a fantastic leader.
Lose one aspect, and the others fall with it.

If you're looking to become a better leader,
try these 4 proven methods to do just that:

1. Practice Active Listening 👂
↳ A great leader doesn't just speak, they listen.
↳ Truly listen to your team's feedback, ideas, and concerns.

2. Lead By Example 👔
↳ Your actions set the tone for the team.
↳ Embody the values you want to see in your team.

3. Empower and Delegate 📈
↳ Trust your team with responsibility and the resources they need.
↳ This will boost morale and therefore productivity.

4. Embrace Continuous Learning 📖
↳ You should always be open to learning and self-improvement.
↳ Stay updated on industry trends and be willing to adapt.

Titles don't make leaders, actions do.
Try these methods to become a better leader today.

What methods would you add to the list?

Don't waste your candidates time.

Great share by: Luke Tobin

Your actions impact real lives.

It’s not just inconsiderate,
it’s downright disrespectful.

Think about it:
Job applicants invest time, effort, and energy into preparing for an interview.

When you’ve already chosen someone,
don’t leave them hanging.

It’s crucial to maintain professionalism and respect their time.
If you’ve made a decision, inform the other candidates ASAP,
they deserve closure.

Be transparent,
a simple email goes a long way.

Time is valuable.
Treat it as such.

People remember how you treat them during the hiring process.

You wouldn’t want to be kept in the dark yourself,
so why do it to others?

If you’ve made a choice,
close the loop and allow others to move on.

Treat others how you would want to be treated.

Great leaders don’t just lead—they LEAD.

L.E.A.D. stands for:

📖 Learn – Stay curious. Read, listen, and grow.
💨 Evolve – Embrace change. What worked yesterday won’t always work tomorrow.
☂️ Adapt – Challenges will come. The best leaders adjust and move forward.
📦 Deliver – At the end of the day, results matter. Execution is everything.

Leadership isn’t about a title. It’s about action.

Are you leading or just managing?
