🚛 “The Starry Night” on the move! Vincent van Gogh’s masterpiece is now part of an exhibition celebrating MoMA’s beginnings and a visionary woman behind it, Lillie P. Bliss.

A bold advocate for modern art, Bliss co-founded MoMA in 1929 and left much of her collection to the Museum when she passed away just two years later. Her unique vision allowed MoMA to exchange works to grow its collection—leading to the acquisition of “The Starry Night” in 1941.

Today, it’s one of the most beloved paintings at MoMA. See the exhibition and discover Bliss’s lasting legacy, on view now → mo.ma/bliss
