Just making sales calls won’t get you to your revenue goals.

(Especially if you get your manager to make them.)

Selling in 2024 requires MORE.

Just ask Andrew Hamburger.

(I know, amazing surname.)

Unlike our flat-cap-wearing friend, he's a top performer and has over 15 years of technology and software sales experience.

He's kind of a legend here at Salesloft and he's put together his top 9 ways to unlock revenue from SMB customers.

It's ungated. (obvs)

A must-read if you have a focus on:

Omni-channel
Self-serve
Automation

(Or you just want to steal tactics from one of the best sellers at Salesloft!)

It's Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year.

So I thought I'd share some joy. 🙌

(This is one of my favourite videos from last year.)

Because there's nothing more unnerving than an unidentified prospect returning your call. 😱

Frantically trying to work out who they are BEFORE they realise you don't know is a NIGHTMARE.

Let's face it. Just making lots of cold calls and hoping for the best doesn't work anymore.

Even if a few of them call you back.

Just ask Barry.

Salesloft users UNDERSTAND that selling goes beyond being a numbers game.

A story about kindness. (Comments are disabled on this post)

In 2020, I shared that our son, Joe, had sadly passed away.

Heartbreakingly, due to complications during birth, he had to leave this earth too soon.

He was just two days old.

When he was born, he had this amazing brown fluffy hair and these beautiful brown eyes.

He was perfect.

Too special for this world.

He passed away peacefully on the 4th July 2020 in his mothers arms.

When we said goodbye, I made a promise to him that I’d try to find the joy in each day.

That I’d keep his memory alive.

Every Christmas we raise money in Joe’s name for a local charity, here in the North East. Helping support families through miscarriage, stillbirth and child loss.

4Louis provided a memory box for Joe, which we cherish. They are an amazing charity.

The donations in Joe’s name have mostly been from strangers.

People that have heard his story and have been prompted to help support other families.

That was one of Joe’s gifts, he pulled joy out of all who encountered him.

The red balloon that hangs in my office, just like the balloons released all around the world on the day of his funeral, symbolises Joe’s continued impact.

We all have the opportunity, everyday, to be kind.

This Christmas, if you can donate, please do: https://lnkd.in/eeSWjQQV
If you can’t, that’s ok.

Just be kind to a stranger today.

For Joe. 🎈
