Thank you to the Telstra team for all your hard work over the last 12 months. 
 
Today I shared our FY23 financial results with the market, and we are in a strong position to play an important role in Australia’s digital future. 
 
The infrastructure investments we are making – including our mobile network, our intercity fibre project and our submarine cable network – are an investment in a more connected future for everyone.
 
But ultimately, it’s our people who help our customers make the most of our technology. It is a privilege to lead this incredible team.

Some BIG news for regional and remote Australia today. We're working with Starlink to deliver new satellite-based services where it’s difficult for existing networks to reach.  
 
From later this year, our customers will be the first in the world to access broadband with the option of a voice service over Starlink's Low Earth Orbit satellites, AND they'll have access to professional installation and local tech support. 
 
We’re bringing a better experience to our customers in regional and remote Australia.

Today I had the pleasure of sharing Telstra's FY22 Full Year Results which included an increase in our total dividend for the first time since 2015 on the back of ongoing financial momentum and underlying growth.

We always said FY22 would be a turning point for us and it has been. Our underlying performance is now showing the growth we have been working towards since the launch of our T22 strategy over four years ago. Thank you to the incredibly talented Telstra team for the work they do that delivered today's results.

As we shift to our T25 growth strategy, I’m looking forward to stepping into the CEO role on 1 September and excited about what the next chapter holds for our customers, our people and our shareholders.
