Employment gaps are irrelevant. Life happens and that is your business. Change my mind.

If you want to explain the gap, then go for it. If not, MOST companies won't dig in too deep as they should know how hectic these last few years have been.

Recruiters are friends, not food....

I just wanted to say to all of my fellow recruiters/TA professionals...I see you.

This has been such a tough year for so many and I know we are all doing our best.

There is a lot of negativity towards recruiters (some is well aimed as I know there are always things that can be worked on and people do mess up sometimes), but 99% of our job is working and advocating for both our clients/hiring managers as well as our candidates.

If you have worked with a recruiter in the past and they did a good job (whether you got the job or not), message them.

I promise you it will make their day!

THE SEARCH IS OVER!!! 🙏

My wife got the call on Friday.....She got the job :)


THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart for the continued support and follow up through out this process.

It was the longest 4.5 months of our lives and we are finally able to take a deep breath after she signed the offer letter.

More to come on this and I will let her share the exact details, but starting May 1st, she will be responsible for sales for the WHOLE state of Tennessee.

Her perseverance and attitude throughout this process has been amazing to me. So much heartbreak and things out of her control, but she kept steady.

For those of you still waiting for that call, it is coming, I promise.

WE ARE HIRING!!!.....but not right now.....

I literally saw a job ad on LinkedIn for a pretty large, well known company (who shall not be named). It had the job title and then in parathesis it said “pipeline for future talent“.

Maybe I just read it wrong or I am over reacting, but this really did not sit well with me. WHY are you posting this? Was it maybe a miss that was supposed to be taken out? Either way I think it is wrong.

With all of the layoffs, downsizing, etc. going on, and companies are doing this crap? People want jobs NOW. Not 3-6 months or more down the road. I am not saying don't network for future roles, but this ain't it.

That is enough LinkedIn for me today.

Anyone else think that is ridiculous or just me?
