Yes, I agree that Women’s Day month ends up becoming a bit of an overkill, but before we dismiss it as lip service, let’s take the time to flip through some of the stories getting featured in all these March editions. I always end up discovering an untold inspirational story of a fierce unsung heroine and that reminds me that for a few more decades, till the gender gap closes, this overkill is worth it.

All of us are playing a small part in creating this role model flywheel for 8 to 18 year old girls who, unlike our generation, will be proud to wear their ambition on their sleeves!

Moving away from whitening our faces in the name of beauty towards embracing our diverse skin tones is not just a metro phenomenon anymore.

Women of Dharashiv (population of 1.5 lakhs, earlier called Osmanabad), of Karnal (population of 4 lakhs) and Bhavnagar (population of 8 lakhs) are able to make better choices thanks to availability being driven by hard working entrepreneurs in smaller cities like:
