I urge you all, please please please do not share the video of Tyre Nichols’ death.

This Black trauma porn has got to stop. It’s basically a digital lynching no matter the race of the perpetrators.

Remember, there are some folks who revel and celebrate this innocent young man’s passing, especially because he was unalived by his own skinfolk.

Please be mindful of triggering Black people with this awful and heartbreaking unnecessary loss of life.

Thank you 🙏🏾💔

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce the death of my love for Kanye West 🥺🥺🥺 (no joke - this is serious).

Over the years, I’ve been holding onto hope that he will find his way back to the light 💫.

But, that hope has been in vain because the image you see is Kanye West and Candace Owens at Ye’s Yeezy fashion show in Paris yesterday.

The sweatshirts they’re wearing (and he made Black models wear), poops all over the memories and the legacies of Black people that have been harmed, ignored and died at the hands of those in power.
People like:
Kalief Browder
Breonna Taylor
Chris Kaba
Trayvon Martin
Tamir Rice
And so so so so so so so so so so so so so many more 💔

And all for what?? For clout? For fashion? For whi.te spaces?

Why are people still calling him a “genius”? All I see is a desperate man relying on race to cause controversy because how else are we going to notice him?! 🤡🤡🤡

This might be his most dangerous and irresponsible action so far (I think).

The saddest part is some Black people will still stream his music and buy his dutty rags even while he continues to behave in ways that cause us harm.

I thought I could separate the man from his music but I don’t think I can anymore.

I’ve already chastised myself for giving him the attention he so badly craves and now I’m off to mourn all my playlists that have to be erased 😭😭😭.

Ps - before you send me some nonsense about my post - let me abundantly clear when I say..
We do not need a reminder that “wh.ite lives matter” - they’ve always mattered. Societies are built as a shrine for wh.ite people mostly at the expense and erasure of Black people.
THAT’s why BLM exists! Argue with your ancestors or better yet call Kanye because he apparently knows something many of us don’t! 🤷🏾‍♀️
