Adanna Jennifer Ezechukwu, Barrister of the Court of England and Wales.
This journey has not been easy. Sleepness nights as I prepared for my exams, my grandparent falling sick in the middle of my course, financial pressures from every side (we must have a conversation about the lack of accessibility of the Bar from lower-earning families).
Regardless of the setbacks, I:
✅ Passed all my exams for the first time, getting distinctions in nearly all exams.
✅ Secured a scholarship with The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple
✅ Made amazing friends and mentors who pushed me every step of the way.
✅ Got a job as a Head Paralegal
My story would be incomplete without my family and friends. To them, I owe a lot!
Next stage, to secure pupillage 🏆
