Today we announced that Nivedita Bhagat will succeed Carole Ferrand as Capgemini’s Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1st, 2024.
On behalf of the board and the entire Group, I thank Carole for her unfailing support and the valuable contribution that she has made as CFO over the last six years.

I also welcome the appointment of Nive who is an outstanding leader within the Group and well-equipped to take on the role of CFO. I am very much looking forward to working with Nive, in her new role, to drive the next phase of our development.

This weekend I’m at Le Mans, cheering on the Peugeot Sport team in the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans race. I’m proud that our Capgemini experts have done so much to enhance Peugeot Sport’s 9X8 hypercar performance this year – by applying #data, #analytics and #AI – not just at Le Mans but across the entire FIA World Endurance Championship season.

On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Paris, we reaffirm our commitment to India. With over half of our team members based there, India plays a strategic and crucial role as a global innovation and delivery center for Capgemini. Our continuous investments in the country reflect our trust and confidence in the talented and skilled workforce and its contribution to our Group performance.

Today we published our H1 2024 financial results. Our growth trajectory started to improve in Q2 and is trending in the right direction in almost all businesses, sectors and regions. We now target a constant currency growth of -0.5% to -1.5% for the full year. Despite this, we confirm our operating margin and free cash flow targets for the full year, demonstrating the resilience of the Group.

Our leadership in AI services is clearly recognized by industry analysts. Generative AI is still driving many client discussions and we are engaging in larger programs to deploy uses cases at scale, thanks to our 120,000 team members trained on generative AI tools.

In an environment that remains soft in the short term, all our resources are mobilized around growth. We are well positioned to capture the market upturn.
