Air Liquide inaugurates its new Air Separation Unit dedicated to #Healthcare and Industrial Merchant activities in Kosi, in the State of Uttar Pradesh in India!
Air Liquide’s site in Kosi, where the unit is located, is now the largest liquid gases plant in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Per day, it has a #production capacity of:
🟡 more than 300 tonnes of liquid #oxygen & medical oxygen,
🟡 approximately 45 tonnes of liquid #nitrogen,
🟡 12 tonnes of liquid #argon.
The medical grade oxygen manufactured in this plant will be supplied to hospitals. 🏥
In line with Air Liquide’s Sustainability Objectives, which include reaching carbon neutrality by 2050, this plant has been designed to contribute to a successful #energytransition in India. The new unit is planned to fully operate on renewable energy by 2030.
