Festivals in India beautifully interweave communities, connection, and celebration to truly define the cultural fabric of our country. Diwali exemplifies this very spirit as it brings with it the warmth and love of social bonds, positive vibes, and unalloyed happiness.

The Salesforce family in India, have been coming together this past week to join in the festivities, connect with each other, and care for our communities—staying true to the essence of this joyful occasion.
Through our ‘Gift a Saree’ campaign, we donated more than 350 sarees being sent to four incredible NGOs so far and more over the weekend.

We are keeping up the festive vibe and gusto as we head into our Diwali break, I hope that each of you gets to spend some well-deserved time with your family and friends as well.

During this special time, do take a step towards greener celebrations
and let the brightness of your diyas, the colors of your rangolis, and the pleasure of good food fill your day with contentment and delight.

Here’s wishing that this festival of lights brings lots of happiness, good health, and prosperity to everyone, along with incredible success.

A very Happy Diwali to all of you! #SalesforceIndia

Ive always believed in the power of technology. Today, our 9-5 office hours and team outings have been replaced by virtual coffee catch-ups, greater flexibility and most importantly, has given us the opportunity to leverage the power of technology in our own hands. As someone who was on-boarded virtually, built business relationships across countries virtually and been to our India office thrice (maybe), this has truly been a first for me in my entire career of 40+ years.

There is no end to digital from here, and I truly believe that a platform to listen to opinions, experiences and perspectives, is critical in this day and age. Thank you, LinkedIn for the #linkedininfluencer badge, I am honoured. I hope to keep sharing, learning and keep conversations going.

Overall, this is a budget with a long-term vision supported by growth oriented policies driving job creation, digital inclusion, climate action and infrastructure development and therefore, is very timely for our country. As we continue to digitally transform, the focus on bolstering digital payments with a consumer-friendly lens, will continue to augment digital adoption across regional India. As a knowledge economy, I cannot emphasise enough on the importance of skilling to lead the digital disruption. Initiatives to drive skilling, reskilling and upskilling, digitally, will ensure we are ready for the digital future much ahead of the curve. Lastly, climate change is the most pressing global crisis that humanity is facing today impacting every individual, institution, government, community, and business. Investments in energy transition and climate action will take us on our path to sustainable development.
