Human bias is everywhere. Take a look at these statistics on total global shipping traffic before sharing posts about cruise ships. Then ask yourself, how YOU can change YOUR behavior to reduce global shipping traffic, and consequently the global carbon footprint?

- Where does your fish come from? (guilty myself)
- Where do your clothes and shoes come from?
- Are you still convinced that it is wise to transport oil to power your internal combustion car?

It’s always easy to blame others, but real change starts with yourself, everything else just keeps us from solving the real issues.

Share this and spread the change

As of December 2018, there were 314 cruise ships,

versus:

- 17,000 cargo ships
- 12400 bulk ships
- 8000 crude oil tankers
- 6000 chemical tankers
- 5300 are containerships.

PS: For my followers working in the healthcare industry, the global healthcare supply chains are responsible for 3.8% of the global carbon footprint. That is more as the whole global aviation industry.
